Product Tracking

It may be necessary at any time to determine which products were sent to which destinations for various reasons. This can be done based on the following matters:

Batch/Lot Numbers

A group of items with a batch/lot number (entered when creating a purchase order or later) can always be traced by entering 'batch:...' in the search bar of the order overview. This way, you can quickly see which orders contain items with the specified batch/lot number.

Serial Numbers

Some products can also be tracked based on serial numbers. Each item will have a unique serial number that is entered when packing. In this way, you can always determine which item was sent to which customer.

Making tracking compulsory for products

Each product has an option to make each of the above tracking options compulsory. For example, you can make batch/lot numbering compulsory for a particular product, while making serial number marking compulsory for another product. When performing certain actions in the application, such as packing an order or creating new inventory, Stoqflow will ensure that the user provides the necessary information to guarantee tracking.
